It’s the start of a new year, and what better way to start it off than with a few announcements?
First of all, work has now resumed on Shine!
I’ve spent some time looking over the Nova System and figuring out how I want to implement it, and I’ve also made some decisions along the way about how Shine will work in regards to it. The hardest parts will still be writing the code and trying to connect the pieces I do have together, but I am excited about the progress.
I have a new goal for the Shine 0.6 Beta, and that will be by the end of January. A lot of big life changes/distractions are out of the way, and I have a lot of time coming up that I can spend working on Shine. The last and only big hurdle is getting the Nova system up and running, and I believe I’ll be able to do it now.
Lastly, Shine will still hit 1.0 before the end of the year. I may have to cut some corners, but all the core stuff is there, and I simply want to get Shine out the door. End of 2019 was my end goal for a long time now, and I really don’t want that to slip.
There will still be updates and features added post-1.0, so expect more to come.
But for now, I’m excited to get back into it, and I’m excited to celebrate the new year.
Until next time,
